Those of you who have friended us on Facebook know that Margie, the kids and I have been on a three week car trip that was mostly vacation but had some business too. I was asked to speak in front of nearly 1000 people at the MG 2011 celebration in Reno, NV.
We are in Bozeman, MT tonight and will fly home tomorrow and ship the Honda Ridgeline, that we ended up taking when the Edsel would not cooperate.
Amazing trip. Family had fun. Got lots of pictures and yes at least a column will come out of it. The six year old Ridgeline, now with 130,000 miles on it, went 6000 miles without even using a quart of oil. Amazing.
And I am not Canadian and do know how to spell about
Ahhhhh, saw a bunch of MGs between Ely, NV and Delta Ut (not MG country) - Bs to TCs, it was wonderful. Was told it was the GOF (Gathering of the Faithful?)
I've heard Bozeman is quite a nice town in a gorgeous area of the country. Comments?
Bozeman is nice, and yes, this are of the country is gorgeous.
We've done about 6000 miles in 21 days, with less than a day of that driving on Interstates, so we've seen a lot of beautiful country. Favorites have been the Talahina area just west of Mena, AR, the Zion/Bryce/Grand Canyon north rim area, PCH from Sonoma to north of Redwood country, and the biggest surprise, the Oregon/Washington border from Columbia River Gorge and then across Idaho into Montana. I have never said "Wow" so much in my life... the kind of scenery that feels like it's a direct plug-in for recharging your soul.
Margie
I can fix Canadian spelling.
Hahahaha, if you had a magazine in a nice part of the country, I'd work for free!
but then, this tourism thing is SO tiresome!

Nothing to fix, it's already correct.
There is no such thing as "American English"
Better let Microsoft know.

Actually, there is an American English spelling versus English English. American English: Flavor. English English: Flavour. There are more. I think some president about a hundred years ago declared that we were going to spell some words different or something.
Ya'll came through Arkansas and didn't stop by? Mena is nice. We bought Dr.Linda's Europa there, and we've taken the bikes there on a day trip. It was named after Queen Willamena of The Netherlands. There used to be Dutch stores there about 20 years ago, but there aren't anymore.
