The other thing that I find interesting is that the stock Miata suspension geometry seems to work, despite having a significantly greater range of motion than stock. I'd think that the stock Camber curve wouldn't allow this at full droop:

Next to come = WRX exocet?
I know this is the Nomad, but I thought this thread needed some gravel hooning gifs. The Exocet would be like this, but without mortgaging your house to build it.
This car is built with the Paco lift kit (https://www.flyinmiata.com/lift-kit.html). Stock control arms, stock shocks, etc. I suspect it's on stock springs, too.
The full-on "Offroadster" kit that Paco is working on includes new arms, dual shocks, extended halfshafts, etc and is designed to let a full bodied Miata run 31" tires. It will fit an Exocet as well, but this is not it.
In reply to Keith Tanner:
How does the Paco kitted Miata handle on road? I understand that it is going to be much, much different than a standard car but is it unwieldy or still have a better feel than your basic truck, sedan, etc...?
It'll feel like a Miata that's 3" taller. I haven't had the chance to drive one yet, I don't think the production parts have arrived here. But it's not going to feel like a live axle pickup with recirculating ball steering.
The PacoMoto 3" lift kit feels just as Keith described. I had the swaybars still connected while testing, though on their softest settings, on 26" snow tires, and my 250hp 94' was just as much of a hoot as in lowered road course mode, but felt like a cushier stock Miata again... More tossable and forgiving, and quicker to the adhesion limit because of the tires. One asphalt spot near my home just begs to be powerslid at about 50mph steeply uphill, and it was decidedly more fun in lifted mode... And Keith, tracking info says you guys got three pallets worth of goodies today... The mack daddy Trophy/Stadium Miata suspension arm prototypes are being fabbed this week :)
