To bring this thrilling saga to its dramatic conclusion, we paid too much money for an '09 Forester LL Bean that's had the head gaskets redone, timing belt service, etc. Needs some worn interior trim replaced, rear struts and the front windshield spritzer pump repaired but seems like a decent car. No fluid leaks! Most importantly, Mrs. Flat 4 5spd is happy.
