So the original 3 spoke wheel on the '83 944 is pretty beat up. I started looking around and kind of have a fondness for the momo prototipo wheel because it has this period-correctness feel to it.
What wheel are you guys sporting in your cars? Any brands or specific wheels you lean towards?
Go woth Momo - they are great!

I currently have a Momo Monte Carlo in my 911, but I also have a Fitti E3 for it. I like the way the Momo looks, but the Fitti feels better.
The Fitti is being restored.
I wonder if the Momo is too '70-ish for that car. What about the Momo Monte Carlo? That one has a more '80s vibe to it.
I got a Momo prototipo for the M3, one of the cheapest or the cheapest wheels from Momo. I am on my phone, so here is hoping the picture will work

I wish you could get Prototipo spokes with Monte Carlo grips.
Momo Competition, followed closely by the Monte Carlo. I have a vintage wood Nardi in my Mustang, but that only works in certain vehicles for certain purposes.

Momo Tuner(it has the cut outs for your thumbs)
I just noticed that Momo does the Monte Carlo with the red horn button. I dig that.

Mine just says "Porsche" on it.
Porsche Momo horn button? Can you even still get them? When I worked at Automod 20 years ago we had all of the Momo horn buttons--Nardi and Personal, too, including the NLA stuff. You wanted a Lotus horn button for a Nardi Classic? We had it.
I have a Prototipo in the Miata and went a little JDM with the horn button for that one: Hello Kitty.

I've got a 30yr-old Momo in my 27yr-old Prelude so it's definitely period correct. My vote is for Momo! Then again, I have a Personal wheel in the Civic that works really well, too.
Decisions, decisions...
You should check out some local car shows, see what others are using and ask if could put your fingers around them. That's the wheels, not the owners.

I bought the button separately from the wheel, and I can't remember if it was new or used. I also have a Porsche crest button for the Fitti and I know that they are not the same.

I've always been a Nardi fan myself, but I think the momo styles are more at home in an 80's Porsche.

I don't think that's the same as the one that I have.
Only one clear answer- MQQN metal flake steering wheel!

I've only had Grant wheels, so nobody probably wants my opinion.
Another vote for the Monte Carlo. It's just a great classic 3 spoke wheel.
