Couldn't resist a couple shots of the New Hemi Racing drag car as well - the guys at GatorWraps came up with a pretty good color scheme on that one.

And where's a picture of the Jaguar that was always battling with the C5-R? Someone posted it around here somewhere...it had a weird green and a goofy pink-ish color lip around the grill opening.

and you can probably guess by now that I like the livery of the early cars better

the car that flipped the NASCAR world upside down in '67. beyond looking just flat awesome, there is a LOT of good old fashioned yankee engineering and rule book "interpreting" going on in this car.

Aside: IIRC, the only reason it went away was because Imperial Tobacco was pissed off that they'd sponsored the cars for so long, and the public still called them "Lotuses" instead of "John Player Specials". Sometimes I think the Corporate Overlords need to take "Anthropology 101" at night school..
