I've never paid much attention to these, although an 86 was the first (borrowed) rear wheel drive car I ever autocrossed and I loved it when I drove it. Lately, I've been passing a few parked ones on my way to work, that look like they could be bought for very little cash.
I can't remember, though, do these cars have those awful motorized seatbelts that were common around that time?
My 1987 FC (T-II) has normal belts, not motorized.
And these things just adore LS motors being swapped in. It is crazy how well the chassis and motor go together! Budget super car.
My 86 FC didn't. Regular seatbelts.

My '86 was normal. They also had a seatbelt recall in those years.

Edit: I should add that I know you know what an "FC" is, Woody, I just thought I'd throw in the definition for people not familiar with it.
Cheers!
I had to look it up this morning.
