Finally! Here are a couple of quick shots.
Thank you, sir. I'm having a hard time deciding whether or not to go another inch lower all the way around. Just not sure. I like the way it sits now.
Racer, if you're referring to the rubber bump stops, they can be removed, I think, but it won't look right. The earlier models you can and make them look real good.
Junkyard, the week after this coming, I'm planning to do the stripes. I love my stripes! Lolol.
I still have the original 12" wheels with the 155R12. The wheels here are Carroll Shelby 13x5.5 with 175/50-13 tires.
Nice! Looks like it has a bit of tail-high rake; I'd lower the rear to make the rocker seam level when sitting.
That looks great -- although it may need some old school round driving lights riding on the bumpers, for that true 70s/80's vibe. A touch lower in the rear, but not too much . . .
Looks awesome! I could have sworn those wheels were 15s. Really puts into perspective how small the car actually is. It looks like it might be sitting on a slight grade which would account for the rake?
I kinda like the way it sits.. looks purposeful.
Needs the stripes, needs some small round fog/driving lights on the bumper, and a prettier (but not huge) exhaust to be perfect

I thought they were bigger as well. Optical illusions abound! Love those wheels btw. I would have never know what they were.
That looks nice.
I have to hate it because it's a FWD Econobox, but it looks good while doing so, hahaha
How livable are the JDM mirrors? I've always liked the look, never had a chance to drive a car that had them or talk to anyone that did (at least none that had an IQ over room temp).

...and the B posts and upper door frames. And the pinch weld under the rocker. In fact just do those and skip the bumpers. Those two tings will make it look longer and lower.
Haha! Thank you all for the comments and suggestions. The car does have a rake to the rear and I do want to correct that. I may just do that instead of lowering it all the way around. The stripes are slated to be put on the week after this one.
The fender mirrors are completely functional and work very nicely.
