Find me a cool license plate surround

I have the dealer surround on the FR-S as of now, because I like the look of bare plates even less. I'm having a hard time finding a cool one. I looked for an SR-71 themed one, but no luck.

I went searching for a stealth license plate cover, hoping to find something SR71ish (although I'd probably find something more F117ish with those terms), and ran across this:

I bought a GRM one.

It looks good but I had to dremel out the sides of it because it blocked the registration stickers

Black Aluminum Alloy with Stainless Steel Screw Caps

About as SR-71 as you're gonna get without milling some from titanium or molding some from CF.

I have the same ones in polished stainless. I'm not a big fan of frames with writing but plane license plate look unfinished.

I thought the answer was easy, but I see GRM doesn't carry them.

Milling them in multiple pieces that only fit properly when hot, from smuggled Russian titanium would be the most legit

"New York State Law Section 375 says that license plate frames and windshield decals are illegal. The license plate frames are illegal because they restrict police from correctly scanning your plate."

Despite the law, lots of new cars leave the dealer with a plate frame.

I have a couple of these somewhere. Higher and faster than an SR-71.

Kinda surprised there aren't license plate frames in the GRM store...

That's all you need to beat an LPR? Off to buy a dozen then.

I had an alumni one from my college but stupid Oregon puts their registration stickers at the bottom of the plate. Placing them right under the lower part of that frame.

I'd probably buy a GRM one if they offered any. Hint hint.
