Not a fan of most license plate frames since most block parts of the plate. But do agree that a plain plate kinda looks lame. I found this plain frame at the local part store. Just a plain simple trim around the frame and doesn't block any of the plate.
It's a shame that holes were drilled, as the tow hook mount plate holders are really nice on Toyobarus.

Alumni plate surround on the back, front plate is in the trunk because the Miata doesn't deserve a buck tooth.
I don't have a plate frame, but if I did, it would be the one made out of reflectors. That way, when the speed camera flash goes off, it washes out the plate.
In North Carolina, we are not allowed to cover any of the lettering or stickers on the actual license plate.
So, I'm no help!
