It went pretty well yesterday. 2nd in my class by a half second, and 7th overall in PAX out of 159 entries. Top 10 in PAX the first time out is pretty good; the car has a lot of potential.

RS, whole different animal from the ST.
To be honest, the kart track is pretty limiting as an autocross venue. We're restricted by the National office to just a couple of layouts, and trying to alter your lines to gain a competitive advantage is almost impossible.

Sorry, I mistook your meaning at first. I did see a few spins into the grass, but fortunately there's enough runoff room (in dry grass, at least) that nobody hit anything.
Thank you for sharing. And congratulations on your finishing position! Does your club post results online? Just want to see how quick it is relatively.
That's cool. The RS is very high on my "I hope a new guy who needs an instructor brings one" list so I can get a ride.

Instructing this event wasn't as much fun as it usually is; due to the high number of entrants (32 in the Novice class alone), the event chairman wouldn't let us drive the students through. I missed out on the chance to drive an Alfa 4C, for example. That was an interesting car to ride in, as the automatic shifts are quite violent.

Thanks for correcting this....cool!
I just found a pretty good action shot from Sunday's autocross. Look, I still drive on three wheels!
