Uncle brought his newly acquired Ocean up to my brother-in-laws for Thanksgiving.  I checked it out and took it for a drive.  Here are some pics

Fit and finish seemed nice.  Lack of the frunk was odd.  He said you have to remove a couple bolts and take a small piece off the bumper for it to open.  Solar roof was cool looking but lacks the ability to see out of like a moon roof.  The one touch California mode is nice rolling down all the windows and the roof retracting.  Rear seat has the fold down cup holder between the seats that has the small digital controls for climate and the stereo which is a nice touch.  Driving was very similar to our Tesla in terms of EV power.  On a slight turn when you nail it in Hyper mode it spins the tires a bit and launches.  He said there is a boost mode that you can only use 500 times, i did not try that mode but seemed odd that it would limit you.  I assume it's not good for the vehicle in some way so didn't want to mess anything up.  The carbon wheels were nice but I can imagine they would be expensive to replace if they got curbed bad.  Overall I liked it, drove and rode nice.  The steering wheel had some angular edges that at first was a little different but grew on me.

Are those also built by Magna Steyr?

I'm interested in the proposed Alaska pickup. Supposed to be the same platform as the Ocean.
