I'm installing a set of FM Springs on Konis and using their bumpstops:

Do these just drop in out of the package, or do they need to be shortened as well?

It's Saturday morning and nobody is manning the phones at the FM techline.

They drop right in, don't shorten them.

Thank you! I was moments away from wielding the razor blade.

FYI: You may want to update the instruction sheet that comes with the FM springs (dated 2007). It says to cut the FM bumpstops, but I figured that it was referring to an older style that is no longer sold.

Back to the garage....

It was updated a couple of weeks ago, I'll make sure the shipping guys aren't sending out the wrong one.

Dandy. About 1.5 months ago I got the new style bumpstops with our Stage 2.5 kit and cut them as per the enclosed directions.

What should I do? I really don't want to have to buy more bumpstops and I don't relish the thought of tearing the suspension apart again.

Well, how's it working? The new ones don't need to be cut, but I'm not sure exactly what effect trimming them would have.

You'll need to log in to post.
