Ford trademarks the Skyline name in the US..

Nissan might be a little pissed about that. Seems like an error that they didn't claim that name a long time ago.

I wonder if Nissan had it TMd. Ford had SkylineR in the 1950s. No time to research right now

Since Nissan never intended to bring the Skyline here, and inexplicably just called the R35 simply GTR, screw em. You had your chance to give us Godzilla and you choked.

R35 had a twin turbo, direct injected V6, a twin clutch transmission with all wheel drive, weighed far too much, and was generally gigantic compared to its predecessors.

I mean, Nissan Motors doesn't even own www.nissan.com. It's an interesting story to read about.

Nissan has to be one of the most deviating car manufacturers out there. They are so far off from what they started as it's embarrassing.

The Skyline was never intended for NA, and the GTR was bizarrely branded just R35. Godzilla would have been awesome if you had given it to us.
