I have to admit that it is growing on me. Any other fans out there?
I like it! Spec racing is good for overtakes. The manus are probably learning a lot about battery management that will lead to better development of race and road cars. I'm bummed I can't watch it live because what millennial has Cable or Fox Sports 2? I'd happily pay $10/month like I do for f1 tv.
I have friends in NYC and it's cheap flight so I'm planning to go to the Brooklyn race next year if it happens.
The thing that makes it tough for me to love is the sound...or lack of it. Just doesn't seem natural.

That was my big problem also but I have gotten use to the sounds these cars make and what the sound of the car is relating to with respect to what the car is doing.
Is it still like Cole Trickle driving in Spec Pinata? I haven't seen a single highlight video that didn't include punt to pass as the preferred method yet.
I like the concept and the cars and even the noises. Like a big slot car race.
