The board was probably due for an update.
But.
I liked the 20xx Cars for sale forum (because I'm cheap). Now I see cars like the Saturn for $1500 and a Lotus for $27,000 on the same forum.
I'm sure I'll adjust, but it was just easier/quicker.
Thanks for the effort on the board though!

That does send you to the Classic Motorsports page, but it requires logging again when you get there. The previous version didn't.
Can we get the classic stuff on the same deal again? I’m literally too busy to have to log in there too
Please tell me you guys are gonna fix the off-topic URL...I can't stop navigating to the old one. It's a muscle memory thing I guess.

And a “go to first unread post in thread” button like every other forum on the planet. (And like this forum used to have!)

This.

Bumping this for an answer. The ”add a new topic” button in the parts for sale forum is just an image and doesn't link to anything. This is on my iPhone.
Anyone else?
Might eventually want to address all the 2000$ sales now being in the "no posting for sale ads" challenge area. Either revert it (I personally found the under 2000 very nice to browse, as my car budget is usually in that range, being grm and all) or fix the title for the challenge board.
Otherwise I applaud the cleanup. Impossible not to break a few things and piss a few people off with any change, but looks good so far.
A week in and I have come to a conclusion. Before, I'd click on the forum, quick check on classic and off topic, then hit the two classified section, scroll to the last one I read on previous visit to make sure I wasn't missing anything. Now, with more options, I just skip the classifieds all together. Too much of a good thing isn't a good thing. Take the 24/7 saturation of Nascar a few years ago. Couldn't turn on Speedvision without seeing a Nascar talk show. Who even watches Nascar now? Same thing is happening to the NFL now. I realize that the more clicks you get the better it looks for advertisers, but in my case you are getting less clicks and the length of my stays are shorter.

I basically have to agree with tr8todd--the new format is nowhere near as good as the old one, IMHO. The lack of a Challenge-specific classified section is a significant loss. I know that's just one change but I don't seem to enjoy the forum as much as I used to.
