4 years ago Fresh out of highschool and with a pocket full of graduation money I set out to buy a project.  Prior to this I'd only ever done an oil change. I landed on a 1400$ 1976 Fiat 124. I bought it about a mile from the border of Mexico, it had rust, it barely ran, but i didnt know any better.  And it was fine, the plan from the beginning was to fully transform the car from the ground up. I learned about the car, I ripped apart the car. I ended up choosing a 13b rotary to replace the old fiat motor. I spent countless hours on the car and gathered tons of parts, I had big plans. I got as far as stripping the car to a bare shell, redoing all the suspension, and mounting the rotary. The car taught me a lot, welding, fabrication, etc. But then i got kicked out of my Mom's garage... without the rent free cradle of my childhood home, the project slowed down immensely. As i learned how to live in the world, I found it very hard to get a house with a garage where I could actually work on the car. Eventually I did have a garage and more progress was made, but that was short lived. I've since lived in 7 different houses and the car has just followed me around like a tired dog being neglected. With no money or time to work on the car it sat for almost 2 years untouched. I now daily drive a Porsche 944 and work at a Porsche 944 shop (Comeau Racing, if you've got a 944 in socal come down!)  and again I am moving to a new place, only this time there will be no where to keep the car. With the 944 and my tastes and priorities changing, I've decided its time to finally let go of my first (car) love. The car taught me a lot, but with the knowledge I have now would not have bought this car, the chassis has a lot of downsides for what I was trying to do with it. But that's ok, call it the price to pay for the lesson, no regrets here. Don't be too sad though, the original heart of the project will live on. The Engine and 80% of the parts are not specific to the chassis. It will stay on hiatus for now but all the parts are going into storage to be later installed into a fb rx7 chassis (my first choice originally) that I will eventually acquire when the time is right.

Long story but the result: FREE 1976 Fiat 124 roller. Its pretty rough, some minor rust and no trans tunnel... but im hoping somebody could use some part of it I'd hate to just junk it                Pictures:

The engine and any other parts have since been removed, but I will throw in any of the old Fiat parts I have. It also has 100% fresh Vick Auto Sports suspension (springs, arms, shocks) All included for free if you can help me by taking this of my hands. Again its free and I am in need of getting rid of it before I move.

I am located in San Diego Pm me if your interested
