Anyone else following the Jalopnik stories about the Changli Freeman? https://jalopnik.com/i-ordered-a-brand-new-chinese-900-ev-online-1842363027
Initially kind of a cool concept: A golf cart for $1K. Of course by the time shipping and export taxes are paid for, it's a $3K toy. Then I saw a decent MG Midget for $1500. I'd buy the Midget. or a Samurai. Or a clapped out Wrangler, etc...
Would you buy the Changli?
Amusing article. It's nearly as attractive as a Smart For-Two. No, I won't be lining up to buy one.

The masochist in me wants to see what it would do with Lithium-Ion batteries and an upgraded electrical motor.
Is there a way to find the follow up articles or has he not received it yet?

They have a few stories in this series now. They received it and apparently liked it a lot.
I came here expecting crowbar content. :)

Now that's funny right there!
I saw one of these running around my neighborhood. I am near a golf course and people drive golf carts and golf cart type vehicles on the streets around here all the time.
It turns out this one cost almost $15,000. WTF??

I can for a race series based on these.
Each car has the rear windows removed and has someone in the back who has a crowbar that they use the hit the other cars.
