We have an aversion to having course workers struck by lightning.
Some days are like that. For what it's worth, there is always something to be learned. Not going to take any FTDs and driving worse than usual? The culprit is often over-driving. It can help to dial it back and take a run where you try to just complete the course smoothly. Set a baseline, forget about the other cars in your class and try to improve your runs, if there are enough runs to be had. You may be able to salvage a few points above minimum and take something away for next time.
