In 35 years of autocrossing, I've never had FTD - until today.
It was a wet, sloppy day in Daytona today, and the AWD Focus was in its element. The novice I had in the passenger seat had some colorful (NSFW) comments, and I was pretty exited about it as well. There were only 3 runs under 50 seconds all day, and two of them were mine:
And overall:
I got second in PAX with a 40.14 indexed time, and co-driver David was third. Despite (or maybe because of) the horrible weather, it was an awesome day.

Congrats!! Though for some reason the first thing that came to mind reading the thread title was Merlin Olsen
I think “a wet, sloppy” should become official terminology for rainy autox days.
Way to go on FTD.
I knew that Focus had to be good for something! Seriously, though, good job.
Good job!! Bragging rights earned today.

Sweet! Congratulations bud!
Congratulations!
I was there yesterday, doing some ride alongs. Fun day. Tried to autocross with a club over in Lake county today, got cancelled due to prediction of lightning. Should have stayed in Daytona!
Congrats. My first thought was some sort of modified third Jen RX7.
FTD out of more than 130 drivers! that has to be an awesome feeling! congrats!
Wet/Sloppy is absolutely correct. Us RWD rallycross guys were stuck at walking pace for parts of our runs.

Yikes, I thought my video looked slow. That was really slick mud.
AWESOME! Come to Georgia and collect your Hong Norr “Hold my beer while I FTD” shirt!
Very cool. Congratulations.
Here's a couple of shots from last week:
And here's one of my co-driver, David, who took third overall. So my car had two out of the top three times of the day!

Congratulations! That has to feel fantastic...
Also, I dig the course. Looks more like a tight road course than the seas of asphalt with orange bits of flotsam and jetsam to avoid I'm used to...
