Trent. For some reason I can't answer your posting.
Jaguar XJS has a 24 gallon fuel tank stock. It also comes with a efficient and reliable all aluminum 6 cylinder. One that is the pattern for the GM Atlas engine. The whole car has a long record of durability and reliability.
The remarkable thing is it is very nearly as fast as it's 12 cylinder big brother. Which puts it to the front of the pack of most races. Champ car rates pre 1990 it as 200 points so you have an additional 300 points to use to add to go faster. Post 1990 points are only 300 which still leaves 200 go fast points.
Some were even built with a supercharger stock! As well as some with a 5 speed manual transmission.
Now the latter is considered a real premium so do not expect to buy them for the current market price. I've seen they sell for very modest money. Less than $1000 And there is excellent parts availability.
Don't bring metric tools. American SAE is standard. Very durable, very fast, great handling. Excellent brakes,
Don't buy a rusty one. There are plenty of rust free kept from winter driving out there.
