I am going to take over my brother in laws pole barn for an extended period and I need some advice on garage appliances. I renting the garage for used equipment ;) I am also putting up a bunch of used cabinets and lighting. He has a compressor, tools and most of the other workshop crap it is just an empty garage with a compressor and a tool chest

The Refrigerator is a gimme, so it is already on the list. I am considering a larger oven for powdercoating small stuff, should I use gas or electric? (both are options) Microwave? Coffee pot? Stripper pole?

What am I missing?

One of the most used "appliances" in my garage is the utility sink.

You want an electric oven for powder coating.

Be careful putting plastic stuff in the dishwasher - it can get hot enough to melt your dash parts.

Music you need somethin to listen to when doing "light" jobs. Tune-up's detailing ect. And last but not least a tree, a real one.

Old computer, with interwebs access? For GRM technical advice on the fly.

Combine with coffee pot and microwave, and you won't ever have to leave the garage.

Could you control that by not using the electric drying cycle as well as turning down the hot water temp at the water heater?

I could see it damaging old, brittle plastic with just the water jets.

I worked in a shop that had an old clothes washer and dryer for rags and stuff. Also came in handy when you pulled an all nighter and needed to freshen up your clothes before returning home. You can find them on craigslist for $100-$200 for both.

Don't use gas stoves on P-Coat, things blow up. Serious, read the instructions.

Parts washers are nice to have, cheap at H-Freight.

Compactor for beer cans. And, it's not so much an appliance as a "charge station", but I like to set aside a counter near the outlet for all of the rechargeable batteries. Maybe a shelf or hand them on the wall if counter space is sparse

That barber chair is SWEET!
