Blargh! I hear there could be a Vincent engine somewhere in this mess!!! (awkward high five)

Blargh!!! It's the Vincent engine!!! (awkward high five)

Way more scripted than Chasing Classic Cars and the dad jeans dude is way too aware of the camera.

I still watch it though.

Saw them last night. They picked a military warehouse in North Carolina that the American Pickers did last year. Found a 1926 Harley Peashooter right on top of a pile, and oh look, the engine in a box!

They admitted it was worth six figures but gave the nice lady $4,000.

Our sports car club went to his museum in Maggie Valley, NC a while back. It was neat then and probably better now.

This.

The problem with "reality TV" is that they hire people who are not actors and then set up scenes for them and give them lines to repeat. So you get poorly produced, terribly acted shows.

The subject matter of the barn show is great but the acting is painful.

Inlaws, who are licensed peddlers, were all excited when the "reality" show Storage Locker Wars came to their county. They were shocked and very disappointed that the show was actually staged, and not real. Pre-selected lockers with prefilled material, etc.

Seriously, they somehow had no idea.

They still like to pretend the various gold shows are real though, and good for the environment.

"but the acting is painful . . . "

Nothing, Nothing, NOTHING, could possibly be as bad as that little A$$ WIPE who was the "big (short) man" in the Graveyard Carz dis-ass-ter.

He took painful right over the edge and down the ledge ! ! !

But the subject matter of that show isn't worth watching at all so the urge to tune in is non existent. Cool old bikes and cars being repaired is a pretty tempting bait, What isn't is yet another show of pranks, fake drama and cars being over restored or questionably modified in a ridiculous timeframe and sent to auction en mass.

Note: I have never actually made it long enough into a graveyard cars episode to see any actual work being done to a car. Since they are local I know that they are mopar only but that is all the info I have.

I guess that they had a birthday party for the Short $hit that he didn't like, and they went go-karting and the little fatso HAD to cheat to win. Why restore cars when there's something THIS compelling happening each week ? ! ? ! ? ! ?

Who did he blow to get that show and WHO'S watching the piece of CRAP ! ? ! ? ! ? !

I agree, the guy was painful to watch when he "found" a trap door in the floor on the episode where they went to colorado to see wild bill's bike. It really was but I like bikes so i don't care. I watched the cafe racer show tonight, it was much better.

I'm not into bikes, but Café Racer is an excellent, no BS show. I'm learning about bikes by watching it, which is a nice side effect.

Graveyard Carzzzzz could be perfectly fine as a show if they skipped the phony sitcom-hey let's go to Quizno's for lunch-here's our new blasting cabinet by ______--and our new lift by--what wacky hijinks are we having in the shop today? BS and simply had a show about high-end restoration of classic Mopars.

Little guy wants to be a TV star/comedian and he's not engaging enough to do so. I watch the restoration parts of the show, but FF through about half of it. There's usually a 10 minute infomercial segment that I have to skip.
