I'd buy a nice CRX DX in a heartbeat, even with that damage, but damn, that's pricey.

I can't beleive a fender, hood, and headlight was enough to push that car to salvage.

At first I had a good chortle at the price. Silly sellers.

Then I noticed 29 bids.

I had a 1991 Crx Dx with 109,000 miles last year. Decent shape, new axles, brakes, timing belt/water pump. Was offered $2700 and turned it down. Later sold for $2400. I now have an Si, more fun:) I got around 40MPG recently driving easy....but that's no fun.

Man, I know those things get around an AutoX course well, but wow what a price.

After looking at the last picture that shows the fender bender damage that lead to the insurance company totaling the car I hope I do not get hit while driving the Mini or the BMW. Ok, I hope I don't get hit while driving either of these cars because I do not want to die. I hope neither one gets hit while parked.

And I thought $3200 for a clean-ish Del Sol with 148K was bad

It doesn't take much for an insurance company to total an inexpensive car. What it is, 60% of the value in repairs?

May be a little off topic but I thought it might be of interest since there are two or three crx;s plus a bunch of other cars there. Might be of interest to NE grm'rs. It is not a junk yard. Not sure what it is. It is located on NYS Rt. 29 about 10 miles west of Johnstown.

Ouch. "Totally stock" bugged me more than anything. Really? Honda sold those cars with dopey-ass clear corners? And man, you must be a berkeleying magician pounding out that fender and making it look brand new.
