Pretty cool that Sverre got a ride with them. Pretty big entry list shaping up for the first event:
Dodge/Discount Tire with TP
Subaru/PUMA Isachsen/Mirra/Lasek
Approximately 1 billion Fiestas (Rockstar/Foust, Monster/DC Block, Gronholm/BestBuy, Deegan/??)
Saab/Per Eklund
Hyundai/Disney Millen/Verdier
And more, curious to see if Mitsu enters.

It's like the WRC from 10-15 years ago all over again, I love it!
Ill be going to the first race in Charlotte, pretty pumped!
I love to see Subaru doing some more motorsports events, but these guys are all such a bunch of boy-racers. I can't stand the culture that's coming out of the drifting/gymkhana scene these days...
I wish they'd show them on the dirt sections too, but I guess they want to keep them clean so those suspension shots look pretty.
Love this bit, that tire is really rolling over.

Whatever gets kids interested in motorsport. Went to Rally America a few years ago, and it was awesome seeing a whole new generation being exposed to dirt work.
You know what would be the perfect car for this series?
A Mazda2 GTX. C'mon, tell me that wouldn't be the most awesome car of the decade.

It could totally be done as well. I wonder if Mazda was ever approached about such a thing... it'd basically just be the Mazda2 unibody/shell with all of the custom Fiesta rallycross equipment bolted to it.

You know, I didn't even think of that.
The big problem is that they wouldn't be required to build a homologation version. I can't stop dreaming of a ridiculous 280HP 2600lb AWD Mazda2 with insane rally car bodywork.
