Time to do a Cadillac project.
JG, where can we run a Catera?
Since it zigs, it should be good for autox.
Or throw as many Camaro parts as possible onto an ATS?
Wait, that's my idea.
The ATS-V is neat and can be crazy fast, but I'm a fan of the regular 3.6 powered cars. And they could be had with all wheel drive. And the ATS has a shorter wheelbase, and the 4 door is smaller than a Camaro.
Hmm...
I have a 3.6 AWD ATS and I love it, but I can't imagine a way to make it competitive within the confines of autoX classing.
In reply to Will :
I recently saw a CT4-V for sale that was at a decent price. However, not sure about the I4 in it (and I don't have much experience with those Cadillac engines). I'd think the 3.6 would be the way to go for fun.

That car is in good hands now
Can confirm ATS-Vs are a blast, undertired compared to Gen6 Camaro but Alpha chassis and 600whp for downpipe, ethanol sensor, upgraded HPFP and flex tune is pretty raucous.

In trucks the 2.7T's are more fun than they have any right to be, and are certainly more fun than the the N/A V6's. Between being both torquier and quicker, I actually think it would be more fun more of the time in the Caddy too. Dropping that engine in a car actually makes the CT4-V interesting to me. The only real drawbacks I can think of vs the 3.6L are the soundtrack and manual trans availability. I'm even intrigued by the idea of it as a swap candidate for a track toy or race car.

That does look real good on track.
Seems appropriate timing to republish the challenge caddy info. That was a quick car, and should have jumped right into CP.
also if anyone is paying attention at home, you will notice this is the OLD GM logo on the side...

Good eye. That is interesting.
