Since I already have to replace the front calipers on my 97 k1500, any easy upgrades out there?
The brakes are...... adequate now but there's room for improvement
2500 hd i think are the ones you want. Al9ng with the wheel cylinders.
Get new rubber lines as well.
Skip the gmt800 master swap.
The commercial grade pads favor function over dust and noise, because roofers and plumbers generally care about braking their overloaded trucks over keeping their wheels clean.
They are available for most trucks and seem to work better and last longer.

I think this seems like the best method.
Yes maybe bigger pistons and such will be better but I think better pads to start off with will make a bigger difference since I'm reading a lot of conflicting reports on how much better the 2500 brakes are
