The weather is beautiful. Looks like its gonna be a top down weekend.
No harder than hanging yourself....
Mount a rope on the ceiling, attach a come along, lift top, drive away.

Actually the brand new top (now several years old) has never been fitted. Its stiil in the box. I guess I mean I'm getting the Spitfire out of the garage for some road work.

I do it all the time and I am a fat old man! Of course mine has lexan for rear glass.
The wife and I were both "kickin it roof down" (to quote our little neighbor kid) today - she in her VW Cabrio, me in my Boxster.
This is what we wait nine months a year for in New England!
After removing the soft top in the Miata, it's a treat when there's no chance of precipitation and I can leave the hard top at home. I'm definately looking forward to the drive to and from this weekend's auto-x.
Finish buttoning up the miata Saturday around 3PM. Have been topless all weekend. first time in almost 6 months. i love it. the GF loves it. everyone loves it.
Well I took the 64 Spit out for several trips on Saturday. Seemed like I caught every stoplight in town. The car is having some drivebility issues. I guess I need to go through the carbs. I suspect the ethanol in gasoline may be causing some problems. I also have a strange squealing, squalling noise coming from the area part of the car. These cars just don't seem to be happy for very long.
Beautiful weather here for the last few weeks at least. My car is still in the shop but I broke out a really obnoxious Hawaiian shirt this morning. Does that count?
