Been watching the Bond flicks since God-knows-when, and in the middle of ( BBC Marathon) Goldfinger when I noticed something very cool (besides Honor Blackman)...
They're at Goldfinger's Kentucky farm and loading gold bars in the back of a Lincoln Continental. As the forklift backs away, the name "COVENTRY CLIMAX" is on the frame. I knew they had made forklifts/industrial engines/firepumps, etc., but I had never seen this before. A 1965 Formula 1 shoutout!
Lots of good car stuff in that movie besides the DB5. I think it was the first appearance of the Mustang in film. Clearly, Ford paid some promotional consideration, because virtually every vehicle in the movie other than the Aston is a Ford or Lincoln. Felix Leiter is in a T-bird, there's the aforementioned Lincoln, and even a Ranchero. Of course, after the Lincoln is crushed, they drop it into the bed of the Rancho and it barely moves. Must've had some serious rear springs in that thing.

Kinda like "The FBI" '60s series!
I was hoping it was one of the Piper Cherokees.
In Casino Royale James Bond drove a Ford Mondeo. I bet Ford paid some big bucks for him to drive that.

Being a child of the 70's, Roger Moore was "my" Bond and the Lotus Esprit was "the" Bond car. It was a number of years before I came to appreciate the DB5 era.
I sat in a DB5 once. I was on a RoRo (Roll On Roll Off) ship sailing between the US East Coast and the UK/Germany. We hauled containers and about anything with wheels: Personal cars, containers with wheels, etc. So there sits a DB5. Interestingly enough, it reminded me a lot of my GT6. Even smelled the same.

ISTR there was something at the end that said the cars were provided by Ford.

Slight diversion, but in a frame-grab of the cop car in Blade Runner 2049 I noticed a logo. I zoomed in on it till I saw the telltale name......"Peugeot".
Dystopian future indeed!

One of the most "unBond" like cars ever was the early 70's AMC Hornet used in a stunt in the movie "The Man with the Golden Gun". It did a jump ove a "river" and rolled 360 deg. at the same time.
I forget which one it was, but in one of the Roger Moore Bond movies there's a scene that was shot on a New York City freeway where every single car on the road is a 1971 Chevy Impala.

One of the great driving stunts of all time. Nearly ruined by a berkeleying slide whistle.
