Didn't really get to drive it in anger, we were in residential neighborhoods with low speed limits.
I did get a flavor of the car and I really liked it! Suspension wasn't as harsh as I expected, all the controls are exactly where they should be, engine is incredibly responsive. The thing just loved to rev and rev, good linear power all the way up.
He's done a muffler delete, so it was incredibly loud, but barring that I could see driving it around town normally.
I want one. Too bad they're over $150,000.
It's not just coming up w/ $150k.
To be the appropriate owner for one you have to be OK with the financial impact of sticking said $150k car into a series of tire walls and earth embankments at speed and writing it off.
That is one of my "stop by the dealer on the way home from winning the lottery" cars.
May get to do that myself. But with a just a plain GT3. Daughters boyfriend just bought a 5 year old one and takes delivery of it today. Now he needs to sell his C5 Z06 and C6 Z06.
What color was it, that lime green is just sexy.

I agree, there's no way I'd feel comfortable tracking the car due to the amount of money it'd take to rebuild it.
It was white with red wheels and graphics. It looked awesome!
I've got one of those!

Really though, I got to drive this one, and it was an absolute dream!

A guy at a NASA HPDE at Summit a couple years ago managed to stuff one into the tire wall to driver's left on the outside of T2 while going sideways. It was the grey/red color scheme.
I cannot figure out how one does this despite 1000s of laps there.
In any case - the car still had a NJ paper tag and was evidently new prior to having the whole right side smooshed.
Fortunately this wasn't a major financial setback for the owner, like the gentleman who wadded a new Radical SR3RS at Summit a couple months ago. Everyone has a different interpretation of what constitutes chump change.
