Great attitude, cute and amazing. And you guys might be interested in some of the technology
That's cool.
I remember an old video (probably before YouTube) of a young man who grew up in a midwestern state with no arms on a farm. Showed him driving the farm truck- a C10 manual shift truck with a shifter on the column, an no handicapped assistants of any kind.
His family raised him expecting him to do all the same stuff on the farm that everyone else did.
Also showed him dealing playing cards while eating popcorn, target shooting a shotgun, and pitching on the town's softball team. It was really amazing.

It would be a little easier with a Ford - no gas cap!
In reply to trucke:
How about a Leaf? No gas pumps! (Something tells me she's not looking for the easy way out.)

I use people like her as examples when I say to my kids "whenever you think your life is HARD, just remember this girl and how she pushes herself every day"

So did my dad "Something something rip your arm off then you'll have something to cry about something something"

Went to school with a guy that was born with very short arms and two fingers on each hand. He became a mechanic and worked at the local Chevrolet garage. He drag raced and went to the NHRA Nationals with his 59 Chevy Impala 2 dr hardtop.

Ah, but they are. They're allowed for people who use them for accessibility reasons. There's a guy in my SCCA region who rallycrosses an E36 with hand controls (including a suicide knob) because he doesn't have use of his legs.
I showed a video she made of herself getting dressed (may have been just a shirt? Totally G rated) to make the point, nothing is impossible. You just have to be determined.
Watched the video. My life has a zero suckage factor right now
Trying to imagine what kind of therapy it took for her driving instructor and tester to recover.
I want everyone to make a video of themselves unscrewing their gas caps with the toes of one bare foot and post them here.
(NOT IT!)
In reply to ebonyandivory:
I've had some cars that had gas caps that were hard to remove with my hands.
In reply to ebonyandivory:
I'm definitely going to fall on my fat arse trying to get my foot up to the gas cap on my truck. I assume putting my hand on the bed side to balance myself is against the rules too.
In reply to Chadeux:
Since she didn't have the option of holding on, neither should we!
I'm not trying it, I have four mouths to feed and I can't spend Christmas in the hospital!
