Graphics for a Vibe GT- Help!

I'd probably pull the fender flares and lower trim, plus the front and rear valance and either paint, plastidip, or vinyl wrap them a nice solid color.  Black or charcoal would be obvious choices,  but personally I would go the darker of the blues in the triple blue screaming chicken, a deep brick red, or a dark rusty orange.  Once the solid color was in maybe add a contrasting 1/2" wide stripe over the top of the new color about 1/2" from where it meets the white as a border.

Score every chick in the world with lettering on the side that reads “VIBErator GT”. 

IMHO I would do subtle changes to your Vibe.

Paint the emblems black and the wheels maybe a charcoal gray or black. Tint the windows. See how you like it from there.

Maybe get the paint to look the best it can, buff, compound.. Aftermarket wheels will change the look, lowering springs are available...

I'm not a graphics fan but that's my take on it.

I like that approach. 

I probably made a mistake using the word “graphics”.

I’m not much of a fan of peel-n-stick stuff generally. I’m willing to put in the effort, do some paint, etc. 

Subtle is good. 

Sounds like there is no love at all for the Toyota livery idea...

The advantage (or disadvantage) of the Martini livery is that it could also be construed as the Petty/STP livery and that might be better on a Pontiac in NASCAR country.

There is at least some obscure historical precedent for the Toyota colors on a Pontiac too

I can see either color scheme working on that car, but it would have to be done pretty subtly to keep from looking absurd. Maybe just a narrow rocker stripe in the colors of your choosing that incorporates the "Formula" text from the Fiero in a matching color?

There’s a white Scion tC in my area that has the 90’s Solo cup graphic on the side. It’s kind of amusing.

No question. The Vibe is easy to make look absurd. 

It’s got a big butt, but it’s mostly odd shaped glass, so it can’t be fixed with paint.

So yes, subtlety works.

I actually the clean white look just fine.  I didn’t know they came without the cladding.

So, life will get better if I stop calling it a “Vibe”, and start calling it a “Wand”?

I think the Matrix is a better looking car than the Vine. I think it’s the backwards sloping C pillar. 

Of course, that’s not something I can do anything about!

Tinting the rear glass, and adding some properly placed black vinyl might reduce the visual mass of the C pillar (excuse the quick MS Paint effort):

I think I like it better without the roof rack too, although I'm not sure how easy that is to remove, or what's left behind once it's gone.

I kind of like the Toyota colors on a white car. Maybe do a pinstripe that ends with one of the Pontiac Indian Head logos?

Just my 2cent, but I like this approach the best combined with some subtle application of the TRD colors.  Maybe something along the lower rockers like a diagonal stripe group between the rear wheel well and the rocker panel.  I would personally leave the fender flares white and the rear c-pillar alone for a cleaner look and instead spend that time/money looking for an affordable-but-more-interesting set of wheels.

I like the not enormous use of the tri-colors on the side of this.  Eliminate the hood stripes, leave just the sides.  I wonder if you can find a similar body line on the Vibe.
