We're just nine days away from the Grassroots Motorsports $2017 Challenge sponsored by CRC Industries and Miller Electric. Theres definitely a bunch of neat stuff showing up. I know of at least two that i want to watch do battle.
There are some interesting cars next to some interesting names. I'm excited.
Very exciting! That's a good sized list!
I’m glad to see my CC wasn’t declined... LOL.
There's at least 10 Pick Up Trucks Class competitors. That's a big showing!

Are you driving the R63 over? If so I hope you're allowed an exhibition run & pass down the strip!

Wow 20% of the vehicles are for the special pickup class. That has to be a record.

Ed Malle is back! I'm really glad to see that!!
I'm seeing at least 5 cars that should be able to run 10's. (Or better?? )

Ed was registered last year too, I really hope he makes it this year. Well, the nice guy part of me does. The super competitive part of me will be fine if he live streams from Texas again.
For those that might not recognize Ed's name, you are highly likely to recognize his previous Mustang that took first place in $2014 and also graced the cover of that issue.
Great guy...the real deal!

That's going to be a PITA to swap engines between the cars after runs.
Uh oh, just noticed I mistyped the year of my entry... gotta see if I can change that.
How important is accuracy here? Things happened and my 99 Plymouth Neon has become a 1989(or something) VW Golf
HOLY CRAP! There are 4 independent entries from the Sarasota/Bradenton area. Must be something in the water.
And I don't know how important accuracy is here, but I was able to fix it easily enough. Wish I could say the same about the car itself. :/

I know what he's running, i tried to help 2 years ago when it wouldn't run. I don't speak megasquirt though. We're using 2 very different means to the end goal though.

The only question I have is if I'm allowed to run in the aristocratic class and the pickup class?

You survived the honeymoon welcome back.
My s10 is also an aristocratic truck. It has an Infiniti seat in it.

Yes, welcome back. My truck has a functioning sunroof - does that make it an aristocrat truck?
So I was just going through the entry list looking at where people were from to get an idea for the "Longest Haul" award. Someone is coming all the way from Chandler, Arizona. That's at least a 2,014-mile drive.
