I remember riding my CB900 from Baltimore to Summit Point. No memory of route numbers, but clearly remember that it was one of the best drives of my life.
H58 along the Lake Superior shore in the UP of Michigan. 45 miles of twisty, curvy, freshly paved, hilly goodness.
This one: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M-119_(Michigan_highway) isn't bad, except that its only a lane and a half wide w/no center line. Some pretty decent views of Lake Michigan thrown in for good measure.
Highway 1 north out of San Fran is pretty awesome. Took the coast all the way up into Oregon in a little pontiac solstice as a lot of fun
