As many of us are driving to the Challenge and often have garages with a random assortment of parts from a variety of other projects, past, current or future, I figured we should start a thread of other things we are working on and need parts for. If you need something, list it here and hopefully someone else coming has what you need.
I'll start. These are things I am looking for:
VW MK2 Rabbit spindles, calipers, hubs/rotors
4x100 14" wheels
14" performance tire takeoffs (just something to put on car for sorting/testing)
450 lb 2.5" coil springs 8" tall
400 lb 2.5" coil springs 6" tall
Early Bronco floor pans
LS1/T56 to FC engine/tranny mounts/brackets
5x100 16" wheels with offset for Turbo Dodge (+35 IIRC)
Ford 2.3T engine and T5
Volvo 122S automatic steering column surround w/gear indicator
pair of 305 Vortec Heads with valve covers $75
Can deliver to challenge (for next year right?) or you p/u in Detroit area. Possible deliver along I-75 Detroit to Gainsville.
I would love to grab those Vortec heads . . . Anyone going the Challenge passing thru middle SC on the way back??
I will be stopping in Atlanta for a few days before the Challenge if you want to come over and get them.

Details on the 14" wheels? I am flying down and back but I might be able to work something out if the fitment is right.
In reply to stan and tb:
That is all stuff I need. Stuff I have is too big a list and too random to try and relate.
I have some stuff to bring. It actually is still packed from last year.
In reply to Gearheadotaku:
I'll ping you!!

I see... Me no read good sometime...
Not things I want, but relevant to Challenge builds:
Got some pretty cheap Hoosier A6's (18" diam) for sale still. Would be perfect for a challenge car. Can deliver to Gainesville.

Oh, also very interested in buying a cheap pair (only need 2) of 15x10 or 16x10 steel wheels. Something like the Aero/Bart wheels would be awesome. Need 5x4.5" (5x114.3mm) bolt pattern. Let me know whatcha got.
Bump... TTT
Would it be possible to pin this to the top of the $2014 Classified until the Challenge. I think many people would take advantage.
In reply to NordicSaab:
I think it is a great idea and will do it!

So, now we have 3 separate threads.
Hard to post stuff.
Can we get a sticky for 1 thread, and let the others die?
Okay, we're consolidating threads. This is the official swap meet thread.
rotary parts/engines/transmissions will be on my trailer. Also, if you need sheet metal from a 92 sundance 4 door @ just over scrap prices, speak now or forever hold your peace.
I have a few items that I could bring to the Challenge. I can get pics later if anyone is interested.
Oldsmobile 330-403 OEM aluminum EFI intake manifold - $40:
Yes, OEM. Pulled from a late 70's Cadillac Seville with the Bosch injected Olds 350. Only problem with it is a snapped bolt on the thermostat housing. I was going to Megasquirt the Olds 403 that was in my Trans Am, but I swapped in a Pontiac motor instead. Very cool piece, and I guess it's rare to see them in aluminum.
2009 WRX Rear Sway Bar - $20:
Stock rear sway bar out of my old 2009 WRX. I believe the bar bushings are on there too.
WRX 2.0L OEM Intake and Uppipe Gaskets - $20:
Part numbers are as follows:
Intake gaskets: 14035AA421 x2 Up-Pipe gasket 1: 44022AA150 Up-Pipe gasket 2: 44022AA170
All are genuine Subaru OEM gaskets.

In reply to JohnyHachi: I just listed a pair of these on ebay, with some drag slicks. I would be willing to remove the tires if that helps. I paid $161 this past spring for them, never used, just some light scratches from the installer. Let me know, link on Ebay is here http://www.ebay.com/itm/121456780473?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649

Turbo Dodge fans:
Complete Spirit RT, in pieces. The Turbo III is complete, and includes all accessories, turbo, intake, etc. Just drop it in. Lotus head goodness.
A-568- the 5-speed that can take just about anything you can throw at it.
Pretty sure I have a lightened flywheel and brand new Exedy clutch for this- let me check.
I've got the rest of the car, but won't have trailer space to haul it. Rust free, dent free. I can bring pieces, or you can pick it up when heading home (31721).
Also have a clean, straight Turbo Caravan rolling shell. Again, it's in (31721).
PM me- good chance I won't read this whole thread.

Lotus fans:
Anyone want to get creative with an Elite?
It's a body only- no chassis. Drop it on a C4 chassis??
I was going to hang it from my shop ceiling, or put wings on it like a James Bond submarine, or something. Time to go.
I can get it to Gainesville.
In reply to dherr:
Can you bring these to the GRM Challenge? I'm interested, but wouldn't want to deal with shipping.
