I too was hoping for some GRM coverage, because who else would? Plus the legendary GRM Free Europa was there and I need to know what happened to it.

It was awesome but a little too sideways for top times. It still had a real shot at a trophy until it broke on track in the middle of day 3. I am not sure what went wrong. It is blue now.
There was definitely some interesting things to see.
I never would have thought that the Europa was the GRM Free Europa. Its tires seemed a bit wide for something that light, but then again half the courses were so cleared off that you heard tire howl through much of the runs, so maybe it wasn't that big a deal.
The SCCA photographer posted a number of good photos. 2024 SCCA Rallyx Nationals Photos

I'm kind of looking for the podium pictures if you happen to see those posted anywhere.

So at least five people were working the Mod heat and know about the whatever the opposite of glory run a certain MF driver had where he hit something like nine cones in quick succession...

Hey that photo looks familiar!
"Hold Nationals in the South", they said. "It will be warm", we thought...
I mean it DID warm up during the day, but I'm glad I didn't camp.

More of the Europa:
I can remember when it was a shell with no engine or transmission, sitting in my backyard with two rescued huskies living in it.

8 total. Something at every station except for 1.

Pete and I had a very comfortable Airbnb with coffee and hot water a good distance from the site that I'm happy to recommend for next year
