I have a Kindle and love it, but I would think that reading something as graphic-intensive as GRM on it would be frustrating... I haven't even looked into whether it's available.
Which Kindle?
At the moment, we don't support Kindle directly, but there are digital plans for the (rapidly approaching) future.
Just a basic kindle, the 69.99 dollar one.... I am skeptical as to whether pics would be any where NEAR as good, but the idea of keeping specific articles etc. on there permanently, or being able to quickly go back to a previous month to reference and old article would be nice, holding onto years of mags gets old.
I am waiting for them to have been out a while longer. The price will come down, (im cheap) the speed will increase, graphics will improve, etc. I really apreciate you beta testers of the world.
Interested also. Daughters got me a color NOOK for my birthday a few months ago. Checked the magazine subscriptions available for it and GRM wasn't on the list. Yet that is.
EDIT: I just reread bigbens6's post. It looks like he wants an electronic - as opposed to a dead tree - edition of the magazine. I thought he wanted to browse the GRM forum via kindle the way I am doing right now

I use a Kindle DX about half the time on the site. What, specifically, is your issue. I know that using the mobile site is the way to go with my kindle.

My DX won't do that. Lots of pictures crash the browser. If you spend your time in the hotlink thread, a kindle DX is not for you.
I want GRM sent to m knidle instead of my mail box, or thats what im curious about, not sure i want to switch yet....
I have the kindle app on my iPad. While it would be nice to read GRM on it, I'm not read to give up my dead tree edition.

Any plans for supporting the Apple NewsStand?
Bought my mom a kindle fire for x-mas and Mrs. Oldtin got an ipad. - I wouldn't have a problem with a digital GRM. I also just published a kindle book - did all the publication from adobe Indesign to mobi and epub. While I like the tactile elements of a paper mag - there's so much interactive capacity with a digital version (a capacity that is usually used poorly or worse, annoyingly) that if you get it right could be pretty innovative and powerful in publishing.

The Fire has a MUCH better browser than the older models. (Example: the DX I am typing on right now is black and white with no video capability.) OTOH, it does not have the DX's free, no contract (ever!!!) 3G access. I spend a fair bit of time in places with no internet access, and the DX lets me keep up on my email and GRM. (...and be honest. Does any of the rest of the net actually matter? )
