Yep. I went "OOOohhhhhh" this just got even more interesting!

OK, just being anal here, but when you refer to the driveshaft, it's "yoke", not "yolk". I see this mistake all the time in the magazine, just thought I'd take the opportunity to point it out. Not that anybody cares but me...

Love seeing a proper collector on a header.
Intake is on. Oil filter is plumbed.
The to-do list is getting pretty short! From here it’s install the wiring harness, coils, passenger side header, fluids, driveshaft and bodywork.
Suggestion for future upgrades - try to find a way to get cold air into that engine. LS engines pull a LOT of timing in response to hot intake temps, and you'll find a considerable real world power gain with the right intake air source. Putting the filter near the headers is not ideal.
I would ditch that oil pressure gauge before it snaps off due to vibrations and causes a huge mess and a failed engine or worse.
Looking good so far.
In reply to Stefan :
Oil pressure gauge is just for the first startup so we have something we know we can trust.

Merge collector ftw.

That’s right in front of the Factory cold air duct, but yes, I see some improvement possible there in the future.

We do know the difference, and proof everything pretty carefully. Are you sure that was our magazine and not another one?

Seeing this mess of wiring, while I know it is simpler than it looks, makes my insides crawl. A 16yo me had to rewire my then DD from top to bottom because I couldn't fin the problem and I still have nightmares. Keep up the good work. I'm on the side of the fence that likes V8 noises and hates the looks of a C5 so this has my approval.

It’s about $1050.
Yup, that's a lot! I am eager to see if you did a before/after dyno test of that bad boy.
