Yeah, there’s actually plenty of room.
Finally hit our first snag. American Powertrain’s shift lever adapter wasn’t quite long enough, so Stephen is making a new one out of an old anchor chain he literally found in the backyard.

Progress!
Meanwhile, fluids are being added to the car. Almost that time!
We’ll be live on facebook at 7:00 pm hopefully with a running car.

Looks easier than an f body Camaro still.
No kidding. If you didn't know about the two cylinders underneath the dash, you'd think those cars were V6s.
Done. That my friends is a shifter extension made out of a huge boat chain. All hail Stephen at LOJ Conversions.
Update time: It's done! Done and loaded up onto a snow-covered trailer, ready to be taken home to Florida.
Wrap-up video:
I honestly thought you were joking on stream about the boat chain being used to make a shift lever. Thats awesome!
I was about to get REALLY MAD at my fellow GRMers for not upvoting a custom made part fashioned from a BOAT ANCHOR CHAIN until i saw the last post at least had some votes.
Congrats on hitting an ambitious goal with that schedule!
Really like the fact that the kit retains all the Nissan accessories. That saves so much work having to make custom lines for everything...
Watching the video, it sure seems like your tune needs a lot of work tho...
