It is just like our bumper stickers...sticky vinyl.

sorry to be a dolt.. sticky vinyl means permanent - ie possible paint damage?

If you're concerned, you could stick it to a big sheet magnet. I know others have.

Mine lasted 3 seasons of terrible abuse with the sticky magnet sheet stuff under them.

Now I print numbers out on the computer and tape them on the car...

Where can we get a magnet big enough? I've been looking for months!

Ask at a sign shop.

Man up and go to a Michael's craft store.

Also it is available from Uline so perhaps Staples/Office Depot/Office Max might have it as well.

If it's one time use and you're just concerned with protecting the paint find someone with a mildly linty shirt/sweater stick it to them first. More stuck than a magnet, but not a sticky as original.

If your paint comes off after removing one of these, then the paint was coming off soon anyhow!

Any sign shop will have magnetic vinyl. Comes in sheets.

I disagree, Keith.

They pulled the paint off my car, and it was a pretty good paint job. It had cured for nearly 2 years.

I'll be using the magnet next time.

I don't think I've ever met vinyl that was stronger than properly adhered automotive paint. Challenge cars may be in a different class
