I've never played in the stock classes but with the move to Atlantic Canada and no desire to spend the kind of time/money I used to I'm going to give it a go.
Courses here are very tight so that helps the micra a little at least lol.
I'm not going to run a ringer, have a nissan Micra,US didn't get them but simply a shorter version of a versa.
Virtually zero aftermarket support which is perfect for target of tires and go have some fun for a day.
The V730 sounds like the right tire for a small budget and better suited to be stuffed onto a stock 15"x5.5 wheel however they are 205 only
I just picked up some used 195's nankang Ns2r to use up before picking up something new, they look about as wide as useable on this wheel.
Thoughts on the 205 V730 on the skinny wheel?

Given the cooler temps, I'd be more inclined to run an RE-71RS for autocross in Canada. The V730 needs some heat...the rear will be especially challenging to keep nailed down.
Plus, the RE-71RS tolerates pinching pretty well...though you'll likely have some difficulty mounting it.
Another possibility is the A052. While it is not tolerant of pinching, it does come in both a 195/50-15 and 195/55-15, which could be a gearing benefit on your tighter courses, as well as matching the wheel width better.

Thanks Andy,was hoping you'd chime in. :)

Not sure if I can spring for yoks :(
Lots here tend to be old coarse asphalt, even with no power and fairly light(2300lbs)I'd imagine wear to be significant?
CRSV2 comes in a 195 and near 50 canuck dollars less then AO52's.
We aren't aren't freezing cold all the time up here lol.
