I would like to give thanks to GRM for all the many blessings that pour forth for all to receive.
Amen. And thanks to all of you for being with me through the tough stuff this year. Im blessed to have this family both in real life and here on the forum.
A very Happy Thanksgiving to all! As Seth says, ounces = pounds. Count up all the little Blessings, and they really do add up. Enjoy.
Lots to be thankful for. Much of it related to this forum and my family here. The lot of you are good people. Thanks.
I hope the whole extended GRM family are all safe and happy today. May your thanksgiving be truly that, an experience of thanks and love with family and friendship. Have a good one.
Thanksgiving is very much my favorite holiday. The main reason being that other than cooking a meal and gathering friends there is generally very little "consumerism" to the holiday itself (other than the pimping of turkeys and cranberries.) Sure, that consumerism has been bastardized by the whole Black Friday concept but at the core, the holiday itself is not ruined.
As an added note, Thanksgiving is a purely American Holiday but unlike the summer holidays it is not draped in Nationalism like the summer holidays are. What I am saying is that there is no way to offend anyone of any religion or any nationality with the wishes and greeting of Happy Thanksgiving.
I spent 14 years in the cell phone business. My specific area of responsibility was all the independent retailers. This included the national retailers like Best Buy, etc but more so included all the small independent stores and kiosks in the malls, etc. Many (most all) these small retailers were not Anglo-Christian. Rather then give then Christmas cards and Christmas wishes we made a very distinct point of sending to them Thanksgiving Cards with well wishes to the kick off of the upcoming holiday selling season (which is a big deal in the electronics business.)

I liked your comment but I must respectfully disagree with a portion of it. As a 13th generation Mayflower descendant living in the Plymouth Ma area and having spent lots of time in Mashpee, there’s PLENTY of people that are offended by anything to do with Thanksgiving. They’re called the Wampanoag Tribe.
Happy Thanksgiving to all and to all a wee bit too much dinner... ;)
I'm sure we all have lots of things to be thankful for so please take a minute or two to reflect on the good in your life and enjoy your day! :)
