And did you do it the ghetto way (spray paint), or did you use the film? Second question- have you done it to a nicely painted surface?

I think prep is something not shown enough to get a great finish 

Wheeler dealer did some "wooden" Jag  dash panels that were amazing , 

There was a lot of  videos on TicTok   and  of course YouTube , 

My question would be how many did you screw up before you got a good enough one to show us !

"Garage Idiots" is a good channel to see what involved. Once again, there is no replacement for surface prep time and effort if you want a good finish, and if it has to be durable it has to be clear coated and polished just like paint.

Very few actually admit it as well. The younger generation is not humble enough.
