And now we've got a Stay Tuned/Vice Grip Garage crossover that is something to behold. I laughed hysterically throughout quite a bit of this.

I was watching a bit of this last night. VERY entertaining. Someone called them a "power couple" which had them rolling! Hope they do more together down the road.

I started watching that this weekend, but I tend to watch while I'm eating, and whoever has been holding the camera for Tony lately isn't doing the best job of it.  I get nauseated with too much shaky cam.  I'll have to try again at some point, because I really want to see it.

That was a fun couple of videos.  Wonder if VGG will something on his channel for the trip back.

I follow Derek on FB and I'm pretty sure he is doing an episode on the trip back. Spoiler alert: he posted a photo of the transmission in pieces.

It's not a spoiler. We knew Tony would break it. Hell, he alludes to everyone in the comments saying DON'T LET TONY DRIVE IT. laugh

There's been a lot of VGG/Stay Tuned crossover content, and I'm here for it. This video, while it doesn't have any actual wrenching content, was an absolute riot.

This one was pretty awesome. Tony bought his dad his dream car ('67-68 Camaro convertible) that he had tried to find for him when he was 14. As someone with a father of that same age, and who knows how to read those kinds of guys as a result, you can tell how much it means to his pops.

A very intentional thread resurrection- the V12 Mustang has made some significant progress- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dg8uMJb6iyA

If anyone knows how to contact these guys, tell them to see if they can find a calibration from a 3.0l DOHC Taurus- IIRC, the final MAP from the AML V12 is really close to the Taurus (which makes infinite sense).  They could really use the spark maps from one of those engines.  FN2000 and FN2100 would go a long way to get that running well.  The fuel part will be totally different since they have a speed density system and the Ford systems were using MAF at that time.

Just catching up here. I tiredly started watching the OP video at like 11:30 and then it's 1 am and it's 540 at the wheels. Good stuff. I REALLY wish there had been videos like this when we were working on the turbo V8 RX7 back in the day. I like that they spend time showing him working to remove individual AC lines. It's spending your day on crap like that that's the real meat of car work that I feel like gets glossed over. That, and the explanations along the way were great. I didn't know about "clocking" a turbo within 15 degrees, for instance.
I bookmarked another one for later before finally making it to bed
