Because I have! I was even the one filming it. Last year at the drift track I totally embarrassed myself, here watch for yourself. Luckily the only damage was to my ego.

waiting for the Mustang jokes. Didn't look too bad. The hillclimb though. I hope I never find myself upside down in a car but that was a pretty good rollover considering.
Meh, I don't really consider a "spin out" a wreck.
Putting your car rubber to the sky, that's a wreck.
Not exactly a car but it had four wheels and an engine. Caught a rhythm section wrong on the first lap of my stint and went end over end twice at 30mph. My roll is around the 2:20 mark.
Well I've got video of a wheel studs breaking off and letting a wheel loose, one of my Samurai crashing into the ground nose-first, and a couple of me smacking my Samurai into trees...so not really, but all of those were more of a wreck than yours
Closest I have to crashin' on film was at Wild West rally on 2007 where someone caught us getting it somewhat wide on a 90L. We allllmost rolled but not quite and were able to drive on outta there.
I've been on video going off track a few times, and I have video of someone else hitting my car - once even while it was parked! But I've only ever wrecked my own car once and that was not on video, sadly.
Only video of losing my first Neon stock car. I was away at a road race, had a friend in the car. Rookie reverse spn him at the flagstand.
White 41.

Yeah, THAT was a wreck! All I did was pop out a corner light and contribute to Mustang memery.
There's video out there of me punting a deer at 128mph just before the braking zone before turn 1 at summit point in a C5Z06, that was a student's car. That evening on the drive home to Frederick, I punted another on 340.

Only a deer? We had a cow wander on course around the same location in an EMRA night enduro in the late 1980s No one hit it! Original post says "Caught on Film". So far only the still of me at NHIS is on real film

He thought there was a yellow flag at the corner station as he was passing the other car. Being a LeMons race the black flag penalty will cost you some laps so he dynamited the brakes
I only collected a few weaksauce 'running off the track' videos over the years. Until last year. You know when they preach for you to stay hydrated? Pretty certain that is what happened here in addition to the car being a bit squirrely under braking.
My comment at the end refers to this being the first day on the track with this car. It is back together for this year though the bodywork is...enhanced.

Ouch, later in the day it's so hard to keep your head and body in the right place.
I got caught up in a Spec E30 melee here when one SE30 divebombed another and rearranged the back of my M3:

And back in 2015, I lost it in the rain at Summit Point and had an undesired route through turn one:
