I'm also letting my engineering side run wild. I had the chance to talk with a few gentlemen from Borgwarner about their turbos and the first guy I was talking to had to pull over one of their engineers to answer my questions haha.
Turns out they are running a material called Gamma-Ti turbine for their wheels and shaft assemblies for better response and boost. For those who don't know that's an aircraft turbine material. Super sick.

Awesome show this year, as always!!! Met a lot of cool new people, ran into a lot of old friends, and got to sit-in on a small, short-notice meeting with new Trans-Am president Andy Lally on the future of the series. Plus not one, but two flying cars, and my personal favorite, the Bentley!!!
