One of the funnier moments I had discussing stretching with a drifter was after he put 185's on like 15x9 wheels on a Miata. He accused me of starting a "why would anyone stretch tires" rant. I had to inform him that I was actually starting a "why would anyone run crappy 185's on a sportscar" rant.

i just came up with a awesome business idea. Start a wheel company, sell super wide wheels with beads set closer to the center so these deutcshe-bags can safely have the stretched tire look without the danger of running super stretched tires.

I think it has its place, with the proper Bosozoku-styled cars, that is.
