Hi y'all.

Bought a good fitting helmet (thanks again, GRM, for making a video!) and I'm able to fit in my car with said helmet on! I am curious about the amount of space between me and the roof. What is the general rule? As long as there is some space, are we all good? Maybe more space is preferable for track vs autoX?

it's relative...

if you have a squishy seat and a track with a bump in it (the bump at Grattan, the jump at ACC, etc.) you'll quickly learn to duck when going through those sections.

If you have a fixed back bucket /w harnesses far less room to move around so probably need less space.

I'd want more space with a harness.  If the roof suddenly decides to get lower because the ground or something hit it, your head has less ability to move out of the way.

This assumes that the seat belts are sufficiently tight in either case.

Thanks for the input guys! It's on a stock setup, so as long as there aren't any jarring bumps, I'll not worry about it.
