Wife's 05 xB needs new wheels. She currently has these 17" for the car but right now we have 13" steelies with snow tires:
They look great, but they suck. 215/40-17 makes for one noisy, rough ride. She and I both agree that even the 185mm snows on 13s doesn't really change the handling noticeably, but the ride and noise is greatly improved.
So, I'm looking for some 15" wheels for her xB. She prefers more "wheel" and less empty space. She would prefer something like a BBS or Panasport style with more wheel visible as opposed to something like an open, 5-spoke design.
Aaaaannd.... go.
Axis OG Oldskools would look cool, but they are $160 a piece.

Rota Shakotans. I'm thinking of buying a set for my prizm, and that was a 150$ beater... the second time I owned it lol.

I don't think I've seen a car these look bad on. And Im sure you can find an xB running any of these with a quick google search.
I put a set of 16" Miata wheels on my wife's Xb. They're relatively light weight, the 5 spoke design looks good, and with a set of 195/55/16s they fill the wheel wells nicely. Ride and handling is good, even on crappy Michigan roads.
I still have these 4x100's from my e30.
15x7" Konig rims with Bridgestone Potenza S-03 tires. 205-50-15 fronts. 225-50-15 rears. 4x100 et20
Fitment Guide
says that your xB calls for 54.1 center bore, the e30 calls for 57.1. There are currently spacers there to make them 57.1. Different spacers and you could easily have 54.1.
The offset of the rwd style rims should look pretty aggressive on the xB, filling out the wheel wells. The staggered sizes could be cool too.
If interested, a middle point between us should require an hour and 20 minute drive. I'll bring a floor jack and in just a few moments you would know if you like them.
$500, complete?

I have 15" Motegi rims (MR116 I think) from Pep Boys, ~$95 each, and Yokohama S-Drive size....uh 205-50/15 if I remember (they're in the garage 26 miles away, to be put back on Easter weekend).
I love them. Plenty of grip for spirited cornering, comfy enough to drive ~50 miles round trip every day to work.

Eh just saw the no-5-spoke wish. Oops.

When I saw the Axis OG Oldskools pic the first thing that popped into my mind was the classic Gold BBS wheels. Seeing as I'm a fan of Enkei, and user, I like this option.

She doesn't like 5-spoke? How about 6-spoke?
Oh, wait. You probably want to spend more than $200 for a set of tires and wheels. But if you don't, Craigslist has lots of almost-new MINI takeoffs.
Every ricer wannabe has mags or imitation BBSs. I like the look of Baby Moons and body colored steelies (minus the outer beauty ring).
Shouldn't the answer always be RPF-01 for 15s?
Try a 205/50/17 if you didn't want to buy new wheels?

Dude!!! You read my mind. I think they would look really cool on a Xb. I am thinking of putting a set on my Kia Soul and/or my lowered FC RX7. Good call!

Let me sell this to the wife and I'll PM you if interested. Thanks!

Rota RBs are Panasport/Minilight/Watanabe style. Look pretty good in pics.

Only if the question is "I'm looking for a wheel that will hit my brake calipers".
Mine are specifically Konig, Brand. Imagine, Model.

Or, "I want a 15" wheel, but I want it to look like a 14" wheel"
IMO, the answer for 15" 4x100 wheels is A) 6UL and B) TRM
Weight, gentlemen. Its always about the weight.
Ok.... sorry to ressurect an old thread, but I found these. They are unfortunately too expensive for what they are. I can't use the tires. I'm going to call him and offer $300 for just the wheels, then he can sell the two good tires for $50 each maybe?
I'll see if he bites.

In reply to 914Driver:
I wish I had a pic, but I have a buddy who's done his xB up like a surf wagon. He painted the steel wheels red, then installed Moonies, so you can just see the red lip. He's put surf stickers on the back window, has a hula-(girl)-rubber-chicken on the dash, put some laminate flooring in the back cargo area, and plumbed in a faux-NOS setup(yeah, I'm not a big fan either, but it's his ride).
I keep trying to talk him into some wood contact-paper for the sides.
