I didn't read through the whole thread, but if you (or anyone else) have plans to fix the car, I have headlights, both front fenders, and a front bumper cover for sale cheap.

Unfortunate the issue is that it needs a front clip. The fenders are actually reusable, it's the structure underneath that's bent...

Well let me know. He hasn't put it up for sale yet. It is very well taken cared of. He's the type to start a log starting the day he buys a car. His ap2 s2k sold for like 26k in less than a week it was so clean.
As much as I like the V70R, I would not touch an automatic Volvo with a 20' pole.
Mom's automatic Volvo is starting to have some trans issues at 225k.. but it's got a GM trans. I actually REALLY wish Volvo had sold a turbo or AWD using that trans (~4t60), but they never did.
