The GM Continental Antwerp data plate is pretty neat. I wonder if the car was actually built in Europe, built in the US and exported, or sent to Europe as a CKD (complete knock down kit): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knock-down_kit. There were some exceptions (for instance, Model T Fords were built in factories all over the world), but I think for the most part US cars sold overseas were at least partially constructed here.

Unsure, but I was going to make a pilgrimage to the Opel factory in Antwerp, (for poops and ha-ha's) but I hear it's just a parking lot now.
